Literacy – ELA
The district adopted the Center for the Collaborative Classroom (CCC). Collaborative Literacy was intentionally designed to develop strong readers and writers, and to create classroom communities in which students can learn and grow. Comprised of three modules, Being a Reader™, Making Meaning®, and Being a Writer™, Collaborative Literacy addresses the core competencies traditionally taught in the language arts block.
Math
Math in Focus is based on the Singapore Math method.
Science
Next year, we will be starting the district’s new curriculum, Amplify Science. Learn more about Amplify.
Art
In the art studio, we follow the TAB philosophy. TAB’s philosophy is based in student-choice. In TAB, the student is a self-directed artist, and our classroom is their studio. Learn more about TAB.
