CoVid Vaccine Clinic at Roxhill Elementary

Summary: Information for how to sign your student up for the CoVid Vaccine Clinic at Roxhill

On November 2, 2021, the CDC formally recommended the Pfizer pediatric COVID-19 vaccine for 5–11-year-olds. For those of you wishing to have your child vaccinated, there will be a variety of accessible options including your regular doctor’s office or clinic, your local pharmacy, as well as community vaccination sites and community clinics. To find a clinic, pharmacy, or vaccination site near you, use Washington State’s Vaccine Locator.

In addition, Seattle Public Schools is doing our part to ensure that students can be fully vaccinated and protected from the COVID-19 virus. SPS is partnering with Public Health Seattle & King County to host COVID-19 vaccination clinics for students 5 years and older at many schools across the city.

We will have a limited capacity at Roxhill for students to receive vaccinations at school. Parents are encouraged to accompany their child. Students may attend without a parent/guardian if the parent/guardian has signed a consent form in advance. The Pfizer vaccination requires two shots. Students should plan to be available for both school clinic dates to receive both doses of the vaccine. Roxhill clinics are Nov 18 – 12-2pm and Dec 9- 7:30-9:30am.
